About Pipeline Operator Qualifications (OQ's)
DOT's Operator Qualification Rule requires Pipeline Operators to develop and maintain an OQ program. This includes establishing a covered task list, defining the training requirements for personnel performing covered tasks on a pipeline facility, and ensuring that all contractors and vendors comply with their operator qualifications program.
